Last night Katelyn and Christine had their final dance recital for the year. Both of them did so good. Katelyn is quite a natural dancer and is very particular about staying with the beat. She did a beautiful job. This is Christine's first year of dance, and she requires a lot of work. But I must say, she did 99 times better this time then at their Christmas recital. Christine was so funny at the Christmas recital, just standing there looking at all the other girls with her finger in her mouth. We just laugh looking back at the video of that performance. But this performance, she practiced everyday, and she did a wonderful job. This time several other girls in her class were watching her to see what they were suppose to do next. The girls' teacher is the mother of 7 children and approx. 40 years old. She did the most incredible dance where she stood on two chairs and bent over backwards and picked up a hanky off the floor with her teeth. Talk about flexibility. I turned to Jayson and said, "I could totally do that!" He just winked at me and smiled. It was a really fun evening, and I am so proud of the girls and how well they did.

Hey there! Congrats to the girls on their performance! That's funny how you said you turned to Jayson and said, "I could totally do that."! : ) Funny! : )
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful girls and dancers! Love you two!! Vicki
ReplyDeleteMan, and to think that we once thought Katelyn had two left feet. I guess feet gain their individuality around 7! Good job girls!!! I'm so very proud of you!!
